Accessibility statement

Scavolini S.p.A is committed to making its website accessible in accordance with Italian Law No. 4 of 9 January 2004 and Directive (EU) 2019/882.

This accessibility statement applies to the website available at https://london-hampstead.scavolinistore.com/.

Compliance status

This website is partially compliant with the requirements set out in Annex A of the UNI CEI EN 301 549 standard, due to the non-compliances and/or exemptions listed below.

Non-accessible content

To prepare this accessibility statement, we took into account the WCAG 2.1 guidelines and the user experience of a test panel composed of individuals with various disabilities. The panel tested the site using a range of assistive technologies and interaction methods, including screen readers (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver), keyboard navigation and screen magnification features.

Below are the non-compliances and their corresponding WCAG success criteria:

1.1.1 Non-text content: some significant non-text content lacks an appropriate text alternative. The information provided to users may therefore be incomplete, unclear or redundant.

1.3.1 Info and relationships: in some instances, information, structure and relationships conveyed visually are not available in text form or cannot be properly identified by assistive technologies.

1.4.1 Use of colour: in some cases, colour is the sole means used to communicate information, indicate a state, distinguish an element or signal a required action.

1.4.3 Contrast (minimum): in some cases, the contrast between text and background is not sufficient to ensure adequate readability.

1.4.4 Resize text: when the text size is increased up to 200%, some content or functionality is either not fully available or is overlapping, clipped or difficult to use.

2.4.1 Bypass blocks: a mechanism is not always available to allow keyboard users and assistive technologies to bypass repeated blocks of content and navigate directly to the main sections.

2.4.3 Focus order: in some instances, keyboard focus moves between interactive elements in an order that does not follow a logical and visual sequence, making the content less understandable or usable.

2.4.4 Link purpose (in context): the purpose of certain links cannot be determined from the link text or its associated context, making it difficult to predict the destination or triggered action.

2.4.6 Headings and labels: some headings or labels do not describe the topic, purpose or function of the associated content and controls clearly enough.

2.4.7 Focus visible: during keyboard navigation, the focus indicator is not always visible or sufficiently distinct, making it difficult to identify the active element.

3.3.2 Labels or instructions: some input fields or controls requiring data entry lack sufficiently clear labels or instructions so users can understand their purpose and how to complete them.

3.3.3 Error suggestion: when an error is detected and the method for correction is known, helpful guidance to resolve it is not always provided.
